It has a total land area of 1,380.788 sq.m. It is a&nbsp; coastal barangay with a distance of 6.5 kilometers from the municipality proper.Cang -alwang has bounded of three neighboring barangays, barangay Tongo from North side, barangay Tinago from East side, barangay Pasihagon grom South side and West side is a coastal area facing at Negros Oriental, Dumaguete City.<\/p>\n<p>According from the old people, barangay have a plenty of hole and some old people called them &#8220;LAW-ANG&#8221;, O KALAW-ANG-LAW-ANGAN&#8221;. And finally they called it just because KALAW-ANG-LAW-ANGAN is hard to pronounce.<\/p>\n<p>The land classificastion of this barangay is residential and agricultural and majority of the people living in the barangay engage in farming, fishing and backyard racing.
